The above pictures are carpet mites. Carpet mites (normally microscopic) can vary in size, and are the leading cause of allergy and asthma attacks in the home. They thrive on carpet fibers, dust particles, and skin particles. Human adults spend a minimum of 2,190 hours in bed each year, and a minimum of 5,100 hours in the home itself. Keep in mind that is not including children, or animals. All that time in the home accumulates skin build-ups all over the home, creating a feeding frenzy for these creatures. One of the biggest advantages of cleaning your carpet regularly, is removing mites, dust, fleas, and dead skin, not to mention spots, stains, & high traffic areas. Below we list some of our services, and descriptions of those services, to further assist you in deciding what type of cleaning you would need. Steam Cleaning: Detergent based, removes dirt on the surface of the carpet. Cannot take out heavily soiled stains or high traffic areas. Recommended for generally clean carpets, that need to be refreshed or sanitized.
Deep Cleaning: Steam Cleaning method is performed to remove surface dirt, followed by a Deep Cleaning, which works deep into the carpet removing basic stains, and high traffic areas. Recommended for areas near house entrance & exit, kitchen, & dining room.
Spot & Stain Removal: Concentrated Spot & Stain Removal detergent is used. Very thorough cleaning throughout the carpet, concentrating on spots and stains.
Scotch Gard: Dupont Teflon Scotch GardTM is applied to carpet after all cleanings are completed. Scotch Gard creates a protective shield for your carpet, creating a beading effect (see picture) when liquid comes in contact with it. Ensures the quality, and condition of your carpet.
Water Damage: Treatment is similar to fire damage treatment; inspection of the carpet initially, & if no other option is available we can repair/replace the damaged area(s).
Drying: Particularly used in situations with water damage or flooding. Speeds up the drying process and prevents mildew and mold.
Sanitizing: Anti-Bacterial chemical combined with solution of steam cleaning, or deep cleaning, covering entire carpeted area.
Mattress Cleaning: Your mattress is the key place for dust/skin mites to live. The high availability of dust, and human skin creates the prime environment for mites. This type of cleaning can be a steam or deep cleaning, and includes sanitizing.
Upholstery Cleaning: Steam cleaning of all cushions and pillows. Cleaning is safe for wooden sofa & chair frames, also includes Scotch Gard.
Area Rug: Synthetic: Steam cleaning of entire area rug, includes Scotch Gard. Asian/Persian: Requires Asian Cotton Chemical for special care & protection. Carpets can be picked up, & delivered at no extra charge. In most cases rug will need to be cleaned at our facilities.
Pet Odor Control: Concentrated chemical either sprayed or injected into carpet for pet stains/odors. Recommended with sanitizing, to deter pets from relieving themselves in that spot again.
Deodorizer: Available in 4 different scents: Orange, Mint, Bubble Gum, & Baby Powder.
